Hyundai Motor Company unveiled the design of ‘The All New Grandeur’ for the first time on the 19th. The All New Grandeur is the 7th-generation new model to be introduced after six years.
The ' seamlessly connected horizontal lamp ' on the front part is Hyundai Motor ( 005380 )'s new lighting design and makes Grandeur's unique futuristic image stand out. A single line that runs smoothly and horizontally from the headlamp to the rear lamp goes well with the frameless door and auto flush door handles, revealing the presence of a large sedan with a sense of volume.
The cowl point (the boundary between the hood and the windshield) moved to the rear on the longer overall length and wheelbase provides a sense of proportion in harmony with the C-pillar moved back for a wider rear seat space. reminds me of The calligraphy wheel, which is 20 inches larger than the previous generation, is designed three-dimensionally, giving the body a sense of volume and contrasting beauty.
The rear part, like the front part, applies a horizontal rear lamp, which further doubles the presence of the Grandeur with a sense of unity in the futuristic design.
The interior has a soft and clean atmosphere so that it can become a comfortable haven in daily life. The wraparound structure that surrounds the occupants inherits the legacy of the past Grandeur with a modern sensibility. This is a three-dimensional design of the interior space introduced by Grandeur in the 1980s.
In particular, it provides passengers with a comfortable resting experience with the ambient mood lamp that spreads softly across the door trim and the front of the dashboard and the pattern detail of the door trim designed with a Korean feel.
The steering wheel was also inspired by the one-spoke design of the first-generation Grandeur and reborn in an integrated form to capture the attention of passengers and implement a layout optimized for the driver. The console space vacated thanks to the gear knob moved to the steering wheel provides a neat interior image and storage convenience.
The leather material harmonizes with the interior materials of real wood and aluminum to highlight the elegance, and the nappa quilting inspired by Korean patterns is considered a differentiating point to complete the luxury of a premium sedan.
Hyundai Motor Company is equipped with an indoor fingerprint authentication system that makes it easy to use the engine start and payment service on the Grandeur, and reclining and electric door curtains are applied to the rear seat to provide a comfortable riding experience.

The All New Grandeur is scheduled to be officially launched next month in four models: △2.5 GDI gasoline engine, △3.5 GDI gasoline engine, △1.6 gasoline turbo hybrid, and △3.5 liter LPi engine. The All New Grandeur will be delivered preferentially to customers who wish to purchase the new Grandeur among customers who have signed a contract with the existing Grandeur and are waiting.
