In addition to Tesla and GM, this year's EV beneficiaries selected by Goldman Sachs
CNBC, an economic media outlet, reported on the 2nd (time) that Goldman Sachs has suggested items that are expected to benefit from electric vehicles, including automakers and parts suppliers this year.
In a report distributed on the 13th of last month, Goldman Sachs analyst Marc Delaney said, "Recently, electric vehicle sales have continued to increase. The proportion of electric vehicles in Europe and China is in the mid-to-late 10% range," he said.
They mentioned that many suppliers besides manufacturers would benefit from the electric vehicle transition.
Its suppliers include Amphenol (NYS:APH), a manufacturer of various electric vehicle connectors; TE Connectivity (NYS:TEL) of Switzerland, which provides in-vehicle connectivity and hybrid and electric vehicle components; and Sensata Technologies, Inc., which provides sensors and electrical protection components. NYS:ST) and Ireland's Aptiv (NYS:APTV), a provider of autonomous driving technology, were presented.
Tier 1 suppliers suggested Magna International (NYS:MGA), a Canadian auto parts supplier, and Lear (NYS:LEA), a supplier of car seats and electric systems. Goldman Sachs gave these six stocks a Buy rating.
As for Tesla (NAS:TSLA) and Rivian (NAS:RIVN) related stocks, electric product manufacturer Zabil Circuit (NYS:JBL) was presented as related stocks. This is because it is expected that the automobile business will continue to grow with the company's autonomous driving and connected car-related applications.
Electric vehicle manufacturers paid attention to Tesla and General Motors (NYS:GM).
Goldman Sachs explained that the two companies are developing large-scale electric vehicle structures and can sell electric vehicles in a profitable form over the long term.
Goldman Sachs gave Tesla and GM a Buy rating and Neutral to Ford (NYS:F) and Rivian.
