The two MOU actors, including Hyundai Motor, are promoting information exchange in the hydrogen field, manufacturing and demonstration of hydrogen mobility, building hydrogen charging and transportation infrastructure, and developing and demonstrating hydrogen production technology.

The construction of a hydrogen ecosystem in the Czech Republic will begin in earnest through cooperation throughout the entire cycle, from hydrogen production to storage, transportation, and utilization.

First, by supplying hydrogen fuel cell systems to Czech companies participating in MOUs, such as the Zebra Group, and supporting related technologies, Hyundai helps develop hydrogen mobility such as small multi-purpose hydrogen trucks optimized for the Czech market.

Through this, Czech local companies plan to manufacture hydrogen mobility such as multi-purpose hydrogen commercial vehicles and operate various demonstration operation programs for commercialization.

It is expected that the future prospect and sustainability of the hydrogen mobility business in the Czech market can be predicted by confirming the possibility of replacing existing diesel commercial vehicles and actual demand through the demonstration operation of hydrogen commercial vehicles.

We will also cooperate in building hydrogen infrastructure to expand the supply of hydrogen energy and hydrogen mobility.

The Hydrogen Fusion Alliance and Hyundai Motor will share their know-how in building and operating hydrogen charging stations in Korea to expand the hydrogen charging infrastructure in the Czech Republic, and also support hydrogen charging station-related technologies.

The hydrogen production sector promotes the development of eco-friendly hydrogen production technology and reduction of production costs.

Hydrogen associations and companies from both countries participating in the MOU plan to conduct joint feasibility studies, joint technology development cooperation, and demonstration projects for hydrogen production using renewable energy and low-carbon energy sources.

By utilizing the characteristics of a supply chain management (SCM) specialized company, Hyundai Glovis plans to provide hydrogen energy distribution throughout the entire hydrogen supply chain from hydrogen production to utilization, as well as transportation services such as hydrogen commercial vehicle parts, assembly equipment, and hydrogen charging station facilities.

The Czech Republic is in full swing to transform the automobile industry, a major national industry, into eco-friendly mobility, and hydrogen plays an important role here.
